Fjords lined with pink granite and spruce trees, shores full of seagulls and bald
eagles in flight. We had a wonderful long hike through mossy forests and stands of gnarled jack
pines, granite ledges and cliffs. Under the tall trees lining the shore we
found evidence of birds eating crabs, mussels and clams. It is very interesting
to be hiking in the woods and walking over shellfish remains from the birds.
