Our NZ road trip has ended, we are back at sea with Illimite. On our way to Auckland we stopped to tour a beautiful historic mansion (1867) that was surrounded by exotic flora, fauna and Wallabys! I did have the great fortune of seeing the backside of a Wallaby as he ran away from us on a hike! For fun we hiked up to the Volcano Summit on Rangitoto island to see panoramic views of Auckland and surrounding islands.
