United States - Maine - Cross Island

Cross Island is uninhabited now, but does have the old homestead and relics of an old Coast Guard Station. We saw evidence of bears on the trails and lots of squirrel activity in the forest. The biting flies and mosquitoes were fierce, they even bit through my clothing.
