We transited the canal, provisioned and said goodbye to Gracie. The three of us took off for an overnight sail from Shelter Bay to San Blas (also known as Guna Yala). The San Blas islands of Panama is an archipelago comprising of 365 islands, of which only 49 are inhabited. The island of Chichime was our first anchorage. We also went to Dog island to snorkel the wreck.
We were visited by Venancio in Holandes key, the prices of Molas have gone up alot but are well worth it. Molas are part of the Guna Yala culture and are sold to tourists to support their family. Molas are made and worn by Guna Yala women, typically displayed on the front and back of their blouse.
It's later than you think... just jump!
