Our day started at 3:30 am; we anchored at a specific coordinate to pick up our canal pilot advisor. Our advisor arrived at 5:30am and served as our main communication with us and the canal officials. It took us around 12 hours to transit the canal, we were in the Caribbean sea by 530pm and safely docked at Shelter Bay marina by 630pm. A long day, no yelling, no drama and a 5 star meal while in transit made by Gracie and Lory (Steak with Chimichurri sauce, grilled mushrooms and peppers, marinara and pasta served with fresh chilled mint tea)(grown in Lory's garden) . We strung together a compilation of a couple of impromptu videos. https://youtu.be/0utAld2HxcA
