USA- Alaska- Halleck Harbor

An Extraordinary day in Alaska

·       6am on my walk to the hot springs indoor tub I saw a Grizzly Bear.  Had an amazing soak in the tub with my coffee.

·       8am sailboat neighbor delivers a mini loaf of hot fresh bread for us to enjoy

·       10am sailing to Halleck Harbor caught a Coho salmon, whilst a whale surfaced near Illimite

·       12pm Lunch of freshly caught salmon and homemade sourdough bread

·       2pm Hike along the shore, found some Glasswort (sea asparagus) to harvest for dinner

·       Afternoon: Caught a halibut, and a rockfish whilst a single Orca was swimming near our boat.

·       Evening: Light rain with a rainbow finale

A day so full of awe it can only happen in Alaska!
