Cedar Lake Cove derives its name from the refreshingly fragrant presence of land that nearly fills the head of the bay. A cirque glacier scoured the bay and sill during the Pleistocene Ice ages.

Our hikes onshore are always from this world and we continue to identify new plant species. We look down and we see dozens of types of grasses, moss, flowers, and insects.
