We arrived on a cloudy rainy day and left under brilliant
sunlight. Cascade waterfall descends
from a series of lakes fed by streams flowing from Eaglek Glacier, which caps
the ridge above the anchorage. We had a
beautiful climb to the waterfall through peatland bog, and densely forested
woods. The scenery is truly magical, and
the hiking is challenging.
