The island of Kauai captivates me, pulls me in every time
with its green mountains, sultry rivers and surf lined beaches. Giving up the dream to move to Kauai is what
allowed me to find Gary and start a new chapter in my life with him.
On Kauai, I reconnected with three old friends. It is
so nice to be able to reconnect with friends even though many years have
passed. We made some new friends too, they will soon be sailboat owners with plans to sail around the world.
