USA- Alaska - Prince William Sound- Harvard and Yale Glaciers

It took half a day to get there the wind was cold and chilly, we dodged hundreds of icebergs to make it to these glaciers,,,, and all we got was this drone shot!!
These small icebergs are habitat for harbor seals and otters. These icebergs are formed by glaciers that calve into the ocean. These free floating respites are used by Harbor seals for birthing, feeding their pups, resting, and molting.

  2. The drone rocks!!! Love you and miss you! This is amazing. One of my favorite animals is otters. Never seen ones as big as these. Must be their wintry location makes them "thicker".

    1. Yes, they are huge!! They look small on surface as all you see is their face and paws, but on the icebergs you can see how big they are.

    1. Thanks Margy, looks like we will be sailing through BC around 8/28 without going to shore.
