It has been a long year of sweltering unrelenting heat and
air pollution (smoke). The air has
cleared, no real difference with the heat, but now we are in paradise,
beautiful clear water that we can jump into to cool off. Our first stop in the Raja Ampat (Four Kings)
area, is Wayag which is in the province of West Papua
Wayag has beautiful atolls with unique Karst islands that
look like mushrooms sprouting out from the sea. The crystal clear waters appear
like unreal windows to the underwater coral reefs. If you want to get to this part of the world,
you need to be on a private yacht or a chartered live aboard ( there are many
live aboard dive boats that come here). This is definitely a bucket list location, don't wait too long, it is later than you think....
