Some of the resident fish on our muck dive in Lembeh Straits. The environment is not mucky, but volcanic black sand, with sometimes limited visibility.
Video of Big Fin Reef Squid parents protecting their clutch of eggs, note the color changes of the Squid who was sending me a message to BACK OFF from their babies. This color change is called metachrosis, the squid is capable of rapidly changing body colouration and patterns through voluntary control of chromatophores.
