Indonesia- Maratua Island

 Having left the mainland of Borneo we sailed up to a  lovely remote atoll island with clean water and fish.     We found a shallow anchorage and purposefully beached Illimite to do some cleaning.  We had a lot of fun with the boat on the "sandy hard" and friends came over to visit.

Most mono hull sailboats can't safely be beached, but the Allures 45 was designed to do this
