Malaysia- Borneo- Kinabatangan River

The Kinabatangan River is the second largest river in Malaysia. The

Kinabatangan floodplain is one of the last remaining in Asia and home to an incredible array of wildlife. The land in this area has been converted to palm oil plantations, but a section has been preserved as the Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary.  This river is home to endangered Orangutans, Pygmy Elephants, Proboscis monkeys, and Rhinoceros.
