She is making us an Appam, a Southern Indian breakfast dish that is delicious and served with coconut milk and palm sugar in dipping dishes.

This is just a small sampling of what we ate.    Top left is NASI LEMAK (rice coconut milk) AYAM GORENG (Chicken Fried!) this is the national dish.
