New Zealand- Friends and Farms

After a brief tour of Auckland's aquarium we went back to Illimite to reacquaint and quell Gary's homesickness for his true love, Illimite. After living on the hard for a couple days we crammed all of our stuff for the month into our rented Corolla and headed south .    7 hours later we made it to a magical green covered hills and paddocks with farm homes and cattle's grazing.  We have arrived at our friends home nestled up in the mountains, a mere half hour to a very small town on the east coast of the North Island  (Ohope).   Our sailing besties put on a show for us. We got the grand tour of Jeremy's home town, the  dairy farm, kiwi fruit and avocado's.

  1. I thought you were home? Or are you posting this now that you are back and have time? Wow all the pic's are so wonderful. I hope you had the trip of your life and really enjoyed your walk-about, which is technically a sail-about.
Love how the kiwi's hang down. And now I know where the kiwi nickname came fro NZ'ers I didn't realize they grew there - makes sense.
    Happy New Year!
